3D and 4D Scanning Centre Insurance

Deciding on the types of insurance that your business needs can be confusing.

If you’re running a popular baby scanning business, it can be difficult to know what types of insurance you need. In addition, because your type of business is a relatively new service, many insurers don’t really understand what risk you may present to them.  Plus there are all the complexities introduced following changes to the SOR member insurance scheme.

So talk to a broker that has experience in arranging insurance for businesses involved in the scanning sector.

We can help businesses in Bromsgrove, Evesham, Droitwich Spa, Redditch, Worcester, Warwickshire, West Midlands and further afield.

To give you an idea of the types of insurance you might need, take a look at the list below. However, every business is different so not all of these may be relevant to you. Tell us what you do and we can tailor the insurance to suit.

Insurance Types We Cover

Buildings

To insure the buildings against damage such as fire, storm, flood or escape of water.

Damage to equipment at and/or away from the premises. This can include breakdown to ultrasound equipment and consequential losses.

Cyber Insurance

Cyber insurance can cover damage to equipment, for example, by computer hacking or ransomware.

Contents

To insure the business contents and stock against damage such as fire, theft or escape of water.

Glass

To cover damage to fixed glass and sanitary fittings.

Money

To cover theft of money from the premises, in transit or the home of an authorised person.

Employers’ Liability

To cover legal defence costs and awards made against you arising from your liability at law for injury to your employees and certain self-employed workers. This is compulsory.

Employment Practices Liability

Usually added to Directors’ & Officers’ Liability insurance, this protects the business in the event of an alleged wrongful employment act.

Medical Malpractice

Cyber Liability

To cover claims from third parties for damage to their systems, loss of money, business interruption, breach of copyright, penalties from regulator.

Personal Accident

To provide a lump sum payment and/or regular weekly payments following permanent or temporary disablement as a result of an accident e.g. loss of an eye or a broken leg.
