It’s really important that what you do is shown correctly on your insurance documents because an insurer will only cover claims arising from the activities shown on the policy schedule. For some businesses, this is quite straight forward – graphic designer for example, but for others it may be more complex.

One of our clients had previously been shown as an “Online Shopping Office” when they were actually involved in web hosting and website development! A company involved in the “design, manufacture and installation” of a product should be described as such and not just as a “manufacturer”.
